On September 7, 2024, three Claretian pre-novices commenced their one-year novitiate experience at Casa St. Claret Novitiate House in Kurunegala. The initiation ceremony was presided over by the Major Superior, Fr. Joseph Jeyaseelan, in the presence of the Novice Master Fr. S. Maria Arul. The seminarians who began the canonical novitiate year are Anton Alanraj, Diman Pod Culas, and Palipodi Yuhatharsan.
