On September 8, 2024, three Claretian novices made their First Commitment in the Congregation at Casa St. Claret Novitiate House in Kurunegala. The Major Superior, Fr. Joseph Jeyaseelan presided over the Holy Mass. The novices who made the First Vows are S. Amala Jaanu, Damian Donaldin, and Nipuna Geethanjana.
During the same Holy Mass, 13 students renewed their religious commitment for one more year. Among them, 9 were from St. Joseph Vaz Independent Delegation, 2 were from St. Charles Lwanga Independent Delegation, and 2 were from Cameroon Independent Delegation.
Furthermore, Fathers Joseph Jeyaseelan and Nesan Culas gave thanks to God as they celebrated their silver jubilee of religious commitment on the same day.
