Fr. Aquilino Bocos, the Superior General, with the consent of his council in November 1993 canonically erected Madras Province today known as Chennai Province. To mark 25 years of grace, and remember the missionary developments during those years, with gratitude, the province celebrated with a special function on the 13th of January, 2018. The concluding celebration was organized on the 23rd November, 2018 at Claret School campus, Barrackpore, Kokatta. A good number of members of the Province and Delegation, the Major Superiors from the ASCLA West, including Fr. Rex Constantine the Delegation Superior of Sri Lanka, Fr. Cyriac Njayerkulam representing the provincial superior of Germany, and Fr. Maria Arul, attended the celebration. It was a simple, and at the same time meaningful celebration, and almost exclusively Claretian.
