Kodok, 8 November — The Kodok Mission, particularly St. Stephen’s Parish, was joyful and honored to welcome the Catholic Bishops of Sudan and South Sudan for a fraternal pastoral visit marked by communion and hope.
On 8 November, eight Catholic Bishops from Sudan and South Sudan, including the bishop of the Diocese of Malakal, His Excellency Stephen Nyodho Ador Majwok, visited St. Stephen’s Parish, blessing the faithful and offering words of encouragement. Their presence was a powerful sign of ecclesial unity, pastoral solidarity, and shared mission amid the challenges faced by the people of the region.
The visit was widely experienced as historic and deeply meaningful, strengthening the faith of the local community and affirming the Church’s closeness to its people. It stood as a tangible witness to unity in the Church of Christ and a source of renewed hope for the faithful of Kodok.
