CASA Claret Novitiate, Kurunegala welcomed its new batch of novices on the 7th of September, 2017. Fr. Callistus Joseph CMF, the Provincial Superior of the German province welcomed the candidates. Only three students namely, R. Acquinas Culas, Mariya Thevan Morais and Ithayaraj made their entrance to the novitiate on the 7th while Harold Raca Tan and Rehuel Alawas Waclin from the Philippine province together with Sewanyana Joseph and Kamolo Ken Omondi from the Charles Lwenga Independent Delegation (East Africa) made their entrance to the novitiate on the 14th of September. This is the first time that novice-candidates from other organisms are following the novitiate program in Sri Lanka. Hence, in the present group of novices there are seven with Fr. Royestan Jeyaraj CMF as the Novice master.
