The General Prefect of Formation Fr. Mathew Vattamattammadehis  visit to Sri Lanka fromJanuary 31 to February 21. During his stay in the country he visited the Claretian communities and missions and took part at the official function raising Sri Lanka to the state of a dependent delegation. Fr. Mathew also preached an inspiring homily during the Eucharistic celebration on the occasion.

During his visit he met the Formators personally and had meetings and conducted training programmes for the formators and non-formators.

He also visited the formation houses and conducted animation programmes for the students.
