The 1st Delegation Assembly of St. Joseph Vaz Independent Delegation, Sri Lanka 2022
St. Joseph Vaz Independent Delegation, Sri Lanka is celebrating its first Delegation Assembly from 13 to 18 of July 2022 at St. Claret Seminary, Kattuwa. The theme of the Assembly is “BROTHERS IN COMMUNITY, VANGUARDS IN MISSION”. It is the first Delegation Assembly for Sri Lanka after being erected as a major organism in 2019. The Assembly was started with the inaugural Eucharist celebrated by Fr. Mathew Vattamatam CMF the Superior General of the Congregation at 6.30pm on 13th July.
The General is presiding over the Assembly, and Bro. Carlos Verga CMF the General Prefect of Youth and Vocations who is functioning as the facilitator in the assembly. There are forty perpetually professed Claretians and eleven temporarily professed Claretians participating in the Assembly.
