Priestly Ordination of Dcn. Jenis

Deacon Warnakulasooriya Jenis Coonghe was ordained a priest on 7th of November, 2015 by Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Fernando, the auxiliary bishop of Colombo. The ceremony was held at St. Sebastian’s church, Sea-Street, Negombo. On the following day, Fr. Jenis Coonghe presided over his first Holy Eucharist at the same church amidst many Claretians, relatives and friends. Then he was assigned as the econome of St. Claret seminary, Kattuwa.
