Ongoing Formation Programme for the Junior Priest of St. Joseph Vaz Independent Delegation Sri Lanka

Junior Priest Accompaniment Programme (JPAP) takes place two times a year for the Claretian priests of St. Joseph Vaz Independent Delegation, who are ordained within five years. It is an accompaniment programme to initiate the very young priests in mission and to help them in difficulties which they may encounter personally in their missionary activities and deepen their commitments. This year, the first of the series took place from May 9 to 12, 2022, at the Eymard House of Priests, Nuwara Eliya

Fr. Nishantha TOR accompanied and animated the eight junior priests in reflecting on the theme of the “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch”. The days are spent in fraternal communion, reflection, sharing of experiences, personal talk with the animator, input and spiritual activities. F.Tharaka D. Perera CMF is the coordinator of the JPAP.
