Celebration of Religious Commitment in St. Joseph Vaz Independent Delegation, Sri Lanka
Thursday, 8th of September 2022 is a day of blessing to the Claretians in Sri Lanka, for on the occasion of the Solemnity of The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary two students namely, Stu. Kitnan Rubeshan CMF and Alveenas Ithayaraj CMF made their perpetual profession and five students, namely Stus .Kiristhunathan Kiresiayan, Justin Selvaraj Davin, Mariyathas Ajeethkumar, Sahayam Livintan Kanjush and Stu. Sathiyaseelan Antony Jeyaraj made their First Profession. On behalf of the Major Superior Fr. S. Maria Arul the vicar and the prefect of Spirituality and formation presided the solemn Eucharistic celebration and received the vows at St. Claret Seminary Kattuwa, Negombo.
During the same celebration nine students renewed their temporary vows for another year. It is also the day of celebration of anniversaries of First and Final Vows of most of the Claretians in Sri Lanka.
During the homily, the Fr.Satheesh CMF invited the candidates to be faithful to the Religious Commitment that they make and further he insisted on community living and being available for mission
Different Claretian communities, religious sisters, seminarians, well-wishers and relatives attended the celebration.
