A NEW PRIEST TO ST. JOSEPH VAZ INDEPENDENT DELEGATION – SRI LANKA

Deacon Iresh Nimarshana Fernando, cmf was ordained a priest by Rt. Rev. Dr. Harold Anthony Perera, Bishop of Kurunegala on the 15th of April, 2021 at Sts. Peter and Paul church, Ragama (Colombo).

Fr. Iresh Nimarshana, cmf offered his First Thanksgiving Mass on the 18th of April, Sunday at Christ the King church, Lenchiyawatta (Ragama).

Fr. Iresh Nimarshana, cmf had his initial religious and priestly formation in Sri Lanka (Minor Seminary formation and Theology), India (Philosophy) and in the Philippines (Novitiate). And he did his diaconate ministry both in the diocese of Kurunegala (Mawathagama shrine) and Mannar (Madu shrine).
