12 YOUNG BOYS JOIN ST. CLARET MINOR SEMINARY, KATTUWA
16 th of January 2022 was a joyful day for the members of the St. Joseph Vaz Independent Delegation Sri Lanka. It is not only because of the Feast of St. Joseph Vaz but also a group of twelve young boys has received admission to St. Claret Minor seminary at Kattuwa, Negombo, Srilanka. They were brought by the Vocation Promoters of the delegation Frs. Renald Ruban, cmf and Tharaka Perera, cmf after few interviews and Psychological Screening, and they were welcomed by the formation team of St. Claret Minor Seminary (Fr. Devaseelan, cmf the Superior, Fr. Jenis, cmf and Fr. Ronson, cmf). They were also given a special blessing by Rev. Fr. Joseph Jeyaseelan, cmf the major superior of the St. Joseph Vaz Independent Delegation, Sri Lanka. All these young boys had been following the ‘come and see’ program more than 3 times. As they joined all of them expressed that they are moved by the Holy Spirit and attracted by the missions of Clretians in Sri Lanka and they are to follow the footsteps of our Founder St. Antony Mary Claret.
